Outdoor Accessibility Fest-For-All School-level Events

The public is invited to a fun and interactive outdoor experience for those of all abilities hosted by the Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Come to the Outdoor Accessibility Fest-for-All!
Friday, Sept. 13, 2024
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Colchester Park, County Road 50, Essex, Ontario

The festival in the beautiful lakeside community of Colchester will feature accessibility-focused demonstrations and exhibits by organizations, municipalities and businesses from across Essex County and Windsor.

Interactive demonstrations will include adaptive rowing by the LaSalle Rowing Club and adaptive fitness classes by MOVATI - Kingsville. Those who attend the Outdoor Accessibility Fest-for-All can also get on the court with basketball players from the Rose City Riot Parasports Club and take part in a workout with SueSanity Pound Fitness.

The event is free, and there will be a raffle and prizes. Bring a water bottle to use the filling station provided by the Ontario Clean Water Association. There will also be a quiet space and charging locations for phones, devices and chairs on site. Parking is available at 100 Jackson St.
